There is nothing wrong with telling borrowers about your allergies in advance...perhaps even signing at another venue, like McDonalds or the public library where there are no dogs. Considerate folks will contain their dogs before your arrival, but they are few and far between in my experience.
BTW, I have two very affectionate canines, a huge German Shepherd and a Border Collie. They pretty much have the run of the house, except when visitors arrive and then they are contained. |
