| it's a rare house that does not have dogs. Most people start apologizing the minute I step inside the door and I tell them to just let the dogs sniff my shoes as I'm sure they can smell cats on them plus the great outdoors then they will go lay down and be bored with me. I used to be afraid of dogs from some really bad encounters but i have learned to ignore them and they ignore me. But....I also tell them if the dog is taller than me, that's where i draw the line! I'm 5'2" and some dogs are taller than me. I've just learned to expect every house to have dogs because it is at least 90%. |
