I'm starting the commission renewal process (which usually takes months here) and once again am taking advantage of the mandatory 3-hour training course which is provided online here for free to Premier Members. It's pretty comprehensive and, perhaps most importantly, can be fit in between other activities.
I forced myself to start early this time by signing up for the only proctored exam near me for this month, which is in a couple of weeks. Will try to finish my 3 hours tonight to give NR plenty of time for me to receive my Certificate of Completion (or whatever it's called), which I'm required to bring with me to the exam.
I've concluded that the process of acquiring a CA notary commission - and following all the various directions - is as much of a screener as the exam itself!  |
