There are many programs out there - I used Quicken - tracked my invoices and mileage for the year....did printouts at end of year. Others liked a program called "Notary Gadget" (I think it was) - tracked all signings' info for reference for tax purposes - only thing is they've now gone to strictly cloud storage and online system, which you have to pay for. I, personally, don't like cloud storage so liked my closed-system Quicken system - backed up my income with (now don't laugh) paper copy of income, broken down to show total collected, amount for exempt notary fees and balance. Have never been audited. |
