Thanks for bringing up this issue again. Several of us have posted about this in the past, but it needs to be repeated from time to time. I should add, though, that they threatened legal action against the owners of this forum and some of us who posted negative info about them, so we need to be careful about only posting factual info when using their name, or being very careful about stating what is opinion. (This is why so many here refer to them by different initials...)
Having said that, when I did research on them myself sometime last decade, I found the same thing as Matt's attorney. However, they have also created a Foundation that IS a non-profit. I don't have info about what it does or how large it is, but it's been my understanding that their web address (with ".org") is a result of the creation of that Foundation. This is one more way they appear to project or imply that they're a non-profit 'association', but IMO, it's misleading. I don't believe it's at all appropriate to use that type of web address for their for-profit business activities.
