That was me, and did not slam you. This tone of EVERYONE needs to lock themselves at home for 2 months is ideal certainly, but some people cannot. This shaming and using ALL CAPS and blaming this spread on notaries who maybe HAVE to work using best practices is absurd. Not everyone is at ground zero like she maybe was and we all do not have 6 months of savings in the bank to relax and sit home and watch TV.
We have thousands of people who are working using best practices in all walks of life, not just some of us who have to take a few closings until they completely dry up.
If you lock yourself away, you have nothing to worry about. Some people have to weigh the risks of working vs not and a personal decision, and shouldn't be criticized if they say they do. jmo
