As VT Syrup said, check out the instructions for your state. It might actually be a RIN, not a RON. Colorado has passed emergency rules because of the virus and notarization's can be done over some type of video communication like Zoom, but there is not an electronic notarization involved. The notary watches the signer sign the document by video, then the signer scans the doc and sends it to the notary by fax or email, and the notary notarizes with their stamp while the signer watches over video and the notary scans and sends the doc back to the signer. All of this has to be recorded and kept for 10 years. This will not work for a loan signing as far as I'm concerned.
