Rings true for me as well.
Why anyone would expect someone to go around and "show them the ropes" as if a 24 hour crash course is going to get them what they need. And, presuming this person would be covering the same territory as me, why am I going to consider doing this for anyone. That's always been my stance, regardless of the endeavor. I would never have even entertained the idea when I was starting out. I just assumed that anyone who was in my proximity would feel the same way. That's why I paid for training, prepared for six months or so before starting out. |
