You are right, a very small chance of catching it depending on which shot you took, but just like any vaccine, we think we have immunity to the disease after taking it and feel so much safer, and yes, it's about us and not them as much...think of polio, MMR, shingles, the flu and all those childhood shots we had to take. It's just part of life. We all need to get vaccinated to get herd immunity for the children and the ones who won't take it, but more importantly, a vaccine is to protect yourself. |
