Myself, I use google maps and it is generally reliable. Every now and again Google takes me to a blocked culdesac and I have to use my ingenuity. I have a phone charger to keep it from zapping all the energy from my Samsung Android. I mostly listen to the directions and only refer to the mapping when I'm at a light or can pull over if I think I'm not where I should be.
Initially, when I accept the order, I've already looked up the destination address and have some general idea of where I'll be driving for that assignment.
