Yep, red flags for me, too. Those types of comments are nothing more than attempts at manipulation, which tells us a great deal about how little respect they have for the notaries they're trying to hire. Those of us who have been at this long enough to have developed better relationships with our clients - and who know better - aren't their primary targets.
I don't get very many of those calls anymore, either, but when I do, they're pretty short. If it didn't work for them often enough, though, they'd quit trying those tactics. So I guess we just continue to write these types of posts and hope the message get through to more and more folks... |
