Until there is a complaint against the notary, the E&O won't come into play. The notary is basically a "witness" at this point, and is not being accused of anything wrong the attorneys are just in the discovery phase of a lawsuit.
Answer the questions asked, and only that, answer yes and no questions with "yes" or "no" and don't elaborate, unless asked to.
While being a great pain in the neck, I wouldn't worry about it. You're not on trial here (even though it may feel that way)
