Good for you, Gavina!
Last week, I had an evening signing with a young couple who were married 2 years ago. Docs had her married name. She had no ID with her married name. Same as OP, she'd never obtained new ID.
We called TC from table. I explained situation to TC and advised I could notarize and my certs would have name on her ID and not the name on docs. TC completely understood and explained to borrowers that signing was adjourned and would have to be rescheduled after lender corrected docs and she further explained that had I been willing to use the wrong name on my notary certs, it could cost me my commission. I thanked TC and she authorized full fee (without my asking )
By the way, borrowers had an email where Mr. borrower had asked LO about this issue and it had been ignored.
