I had a signing today at a facility that does covid vaccine studies. They require masks be worn by everyone, regardles of vaccination status.
The signer told me that in their current study they are seeing Delta breakthrough infections in those who had been vaccinated with the Pfizer and J & J formulas. None so far in those with the Moderna vaccine. The study has not been completed yet so no official findings reported. Any vaccine is better than no vaccine, but I am glad I received the Moderna vaccine, by sheer luck, as that was the one available to me.
Our state and county have not instituted any new mask requirements. I always ask my signers if they are more comfortable with me wearing a mask and have no issue if that is what they want. I volunteer the information that I have been vaccinated.
