Just from my personal experience, this seems to be less of an issue for commercial loans than with the typical residential buyer. With most commercials loans I sign, the BOs have been down this road before, know what they're looking for in just a few key areas, and just want to get it done. On average, too, they seem better able to focus while chit chatting, so the flow doesn't slow down.
Way too often, with a residential BO, they do slow down - or even stop - when chatting with the LO. Those are the times I'd rather the LO not be there, or wait in another room while we sign. |
