I am a TP and I did verify her ID is the name she signed on the docs. The only reason I even know this was an issue is because she told me and also said her lender assured her they would take care of it. I pulled up the tax record and sure enough it is in the maiden name. I told her I would hold them to it as far as changing the vesting by way of a new deed. Otherwise the chain of title is broken.

Other than that, I am trying to stay out of it.
