| For years now, I've made it a point to confirm proper, current IDs at the point I confirm the appointment. Earlier in my notary career, I made too many trips to signers only to find they don't have acceptable ID. Chasing after a print or travel fee just isn't worth it to me and creates problems for everyone involved in the transaction.
