Hard $$ loan Lender Requirements

I had a hard $$$ loan today for half million. Secured by $3mil Montecito property, one year balloon payment.

Lender is a private investor, requirements to fund are:

Copies of notary's bond, e&o, and copies of borrower's signatures on notary's journal.

Any one else out there have these requests?
