Of course she did not have a copy of the law.

I did not push the matter since the TC said they did not need a copy of her ID.

She told me this morning that she had been a victim of identity theft, so that may be the basis for her hesitancy in providing a copy. She did have her ID ready and available and made no objection to me recording her information in my notary journal.
