CT legislature has removed Notary Signing Agents from business by saying that only attorneys are allowed to do closings which have title insurance. That effectively excluded any NSA from doing loan signings. So are attorneys really accepting signings for pittances???
Other signings that I have been offered have been for ridiculously low fees that have literally brought a laugh from me.
The good days are over, my friends. And they're not coming back. There are too many Notary Public wanna-bes driving fees right down the toilet.. E.G., $75 with fax-backs of the while package. |
