Why only travel fee? You should have been paid full fee for the signing. Why is it your fault that the signing wasn't completed? I know this is an extreme example but it applies to all "no-signs". Why should the notary get dinged for something that was not their fault? My opinion is that the notary should always get paid full fee if they print the documents and travel to the signing.
