Maybe they are desparate? Maybe the signing is a modification just around the corner? It's their business, their profit and or loss. The market will not be destroyed by these people, it will continue to ebb and flow and you and I and others will ride that wave till we decide to get off. Make your offer to the caller and if it doesn't happen, wait till the next.
