"I will never work, even for an over-night, for $50"
When I started m signing service I always paid $75 for overnight (usually keep signing agents very close to their home). Often I would call a signing agent who quoted me $50, and I always told them they were selling themselves short and I paid $75.
Last year, as gas prices rose, I raised the fee I paid signing agents to $100 for overnight docs. I do not understand why some signing companies are lowering their fees. Because of the slowdown I may not get as many signings coming through as I used to, but I still get the same fee per signing so I see no reason to lower the fee to the signing agent. |
