Perhaps you lived too long in China to remember that this country values (or used to value, before Trump) freedom of the press. Perhaps you've grown used to the idea of state-sponsored media telling you the truths it thinks you should know.
I noticed that your long screed completely ignored the fact that I said I never heard ANY of the phrases you used in your OP. You accused me of deflecting, but you never addressed that - never provided examples, never provided links to support your position. You just went on and on, accusing me of being from another generation that gets their information elsewhere, attributing beliefs to me that you have no way of knowing to be true.
And now that you've gotten that all off you chest, here's the deal - I've been on the Internet since the only way to access it was with a 1200 baud modem. Do you know what that is? I spent almost 20 years developing applications that would work on the web. Do not insult my intelligence by suggesting that just because I'm older, I don't understand how the Internet works today. YOU apparently don't understand how we got here.
