Nobody can deny that was all Trump on that day. He was imploding and attention good or bad was what he was after. He had hours if not days of rallying the troops and charging the enemy to be remembered and go down in flames of glory. Everyone, even his family told him to stop it while it was happening, he let it go. That was not a Patriot but a mad man who was desperate to go down and take everyone with him.
I feel really disappointed because Trump had many good ideas, he did great with our foreign trade, he did really well with the southern border, jobs were good, the economy was really good, he fast-tracked COVID research. He did have some really remarkable accomplishments while in office the first 3 years prior to COVID IF you could get past his personality. He didn't waste any time his first few years doing a lot of good, but now this is his legacy. He won't come back from this. The Republicans need to own it, learn from it, take the good things from his Presidency and move forward to expand that, and stop with the nonsense. It's done and over. Time heals everything...the question who how much time? This one is going to be pretty big to beat and not be forgotten.
