So you’re saying just have swinging doors in every hallway going outside? Just letting anyone get in? Yeah, that makes loads of sense. So, tell me what you recommend? Schools here just within the last 5 years started locking doors and installing key card readers and a secure lobby for visitors but it’s not in all the schools yet. Metal detectors would be an easy add. Last time I went to an NFL game I had to go through one. Same with concerts, airports, ALL government bldgs here (go figure) in fact I went through a detector to get the tag moved to my new Harley. It’s no biggee.
My wife taught elementary school for over 20 years and there were more often than not, a non-custodial parent “issue” each year. And what about all the homeless street poopers and druggees, you want them walking into the big city schools? Wake up… |
