Abbott want to pardon convicted murderer

before you comment, read why Perry was convicted. CONVICTED! by a jury of his peers.
How is it remotely logical for a governor to, in essence, throw out a jury conviction?
What precedence will this set?

Is it okay to shoot someone at a protest rally who is carrying a gun but has not pointed at you?

If we are all going to arm ourselves, then we can just go about shooting anyone with a gun because we feel threatened?

Aren't we all supposed to feel so much safer because we are all going to carry? INSANE!
