There was no question whether they were going get their butts handed to them, it was just a question of how much pain they were willing to endure. Once those texts and emails started coming out, it was game over. And then the attorneys got caught trying to hide stuff in discovery - how guilty do you really want to look in front of a jury?

All because they were worried about their ratings...
