Does your prescription or OTC drug overdose kill you by the meds jumping in your mouth and down your throat? Of course not, it's the human taking them with intention.
There has never been a car accident without a car.
Does the car start itself and run into someone? Does the car have a mind of its own?
No (not yet anyway, well maybe Tesla, lol)
The same with a gun. It's always the person behind the object no matter what it is.
You can kill someone with a paper clip if you stick them in the temple. Everything can be a deadly weapon, but it's not until the person behind it turns it into one.
So there happen to be more guns in the USA than people. Then the people better wake up and start to realize what the heck they are doing. Guns are and always will be there, they need to find a solution to make people aware of what exactly is happening out there and treat guns with respect.
That is only accidental shootings, everything else is off the table. If someone has the intent to do harm, they can use anything they want...bombs, poison, gas, it's not just "the guns". Guns may be the easiest because there are so many out there, but the fact is, that will never change. People kill people. |
