| My therapist said she is totally not sure about where or how she became infected. She wears a mask whenever she leaves her house, keeps her distance from patients, wipes down all her equipment, and she still got it. I'm sure the fact she is in and out of patients' houses just about every day of the week, plus she sometimes has to go to nursing homes or assisted care facilities may have had something to do with it. She doesn't wear a face shield and her doctor said it could be something as simple as going to the grocery store and having someone without a mask speak near you - the virus is spread by the droplets and enters the body through the eyes. It doesn't take much no matter how careful you are. |
