I don't think Veggie burgers are the same as a meat alternative. I like veggies burgers, Morning Star and Boca Burgers BUT they are not really trying to say they are like an "Impossible burger" (Burger King) where it's imitating the look, feel and texture, look, juices.
I haven't tried that alternative because I am fine with a good beef or turkey burger or Veggie burger AND it is more expensive. If I want something to taste like it's supposed to imitate, I'd eat the real thing.
If you are a vegan or vegetarian, I don't think you really want it to taste like meat anyway, would you? Idk. |
