The only incident I came close to, years ago, was a gentleman who answered the door in his maroon bathrobe with the tie belt only loosely closing his robe, "baring his privates", his robe hung on his small, thin frame and I simply followed him in, as I could tell he wasn't well. His wife was sitting at the kitchen table, sobbing.
Turns out he was adding her to title, he acquired the property as a single man as his sole and separate property. He had fourth stage lung cancer and was refi'ing for a lower rate.
His demeanor was non threatening, and there was nothing there I hadn't seen before, so my compassion ran deep that day and I made the best of it.
Some times you gotta just roll with it. |
