There are always "what if's" with everything in life. You can walk out the door and you get into a car accident, and the package never gets dropped. Can be a thousand reasons something can happen before, during and after the closing. We can only do our best to get it completed and returned. To answer your question, YOU have to do the stamping and ack. in the hospital since you were witnessing the signatures, but chances are that is the last thing on your mind, and not your fault. Things happen. Once it gets dropped it is out of our line of responsibility. If I am in a time crunch or the buyer is, and not required to stamp in front of buyer, I do not see an issue with completing it later on. Personally, I have never had a problem with that. |
