One time was checking DL and the signature on the DL was a little sketch of a flower and a line.
Wouldn't accept it without seeing a document with a "written" signature. Took pics of both docs.
Thank goodness this was Maryland where ID requirements were loose - notary simply had to be satisfied that the person was who they said they were. (several years ago - requirements may have changed)
