I think it's a big deal. And I've had the same happen to me.
HOWEVER--because the TC sends me plenty of business from this lender, I've just started adding the information under my signature line. And I didn't make a big deal of it. It's not so much the 'do we need to write the information, because it's already on our seals'. The rub is them taking it upon themselves to write it in. One might wonder if pressed the argument could be made that it invalidates that certificate...I don't know.
The other 'default' initials. UGHHH I was given a 'default' because I didn't have them initial the RTC dates . I challenged the default simply because it was not in any of my instructions that this particular lender wanted these not commonly initialed dates initialed. Default was deemed invalid. |
