I guess there can only be one of a few things (or maybe a combination of both)
A. We are using more notaries that close our loans, they move on to the next loan and do not bother to posts ratings
B. Every notary has a horrible experience with our company and chooses not to post a positive review about our company
I could ask notaries to come here and post positive ratings, but the last time that was done - notaries jumped right behind the posts and stated that the ratings were bogus.
We had a campaign to get notaries to rate us: We asked - no matter what the experience GOOD or BAD please go to signing central to rate our company. Dont you know the first few notaries went to the FORUM, where they were pretty much crucified for rating us on the forum (they did not follow the instructions - LOL) - I pulled the plug on that campaign very quickly!
Sigtogo - It is a proven fact that MOST people (and i did say MOST not ALL...i know there are exceptions) go to forums to complain. Can I ask you this? I am sure that you are a seasoned notary correct? Can you show me the last time that you gave a company a 4 or 5 star rating on here?
I am not saying that we are perfect by any means. We have agents that get frustrated, we have had closings that had large packages that took longer than normal, we have had times where we could not contact the title company during the closing .....and these are ALL reasons that a notary would have a bad experience with our company.
Based on our ratings, no one should EVER work for our company, but we close and hire notaries every day. Do you think that we are hiring all newbies that do not know better? That is not the case because the newbies check this site and give us a 1 star and say they dodged a bullet.
How about this - (this is for you and anyone): Eugene, OR is not that big. At your request - I will send you 4 or 5 names of notaries in your area (that we use) so that you can poll them, and ask them why they do closings for our company, but do not rate us.
I am as curious as you are to know why! Please be sure to post your findings - whether good or bad.
