| That has always been my policy, too. I heard of a notary in my area that keeps copies of ALL the documents she notarizes. Her rationale is that she was called into court once and thought she looked stupid, so now she keeps everything. IMO that's a violation of the GLBA & I'd rather look stupid than be liable for keeping copies of the documents. We don't notarize documents, we notarize signatures! |
