I agree, Laurie. It's all in how it's handled. If the notary comes across as an angry person who is lashing out at any and all people because they didn't get paid, they're likely to be scratched off the list. But if presented professionally, you are doing them a favor. I would hope that no title company worth their salt would want to be associated with an unscrupulous signing service, whose non-payment reflects on their reputation, as well.
