When dk expressed (as multiple bullying victims have done previously) that they came to NR for support & advice and received "bashing, and put down of notaries" (reference Msg #574041 ) it was undeniably clear that an over-the-top, severely critical, and unprofessional tongue lashing had taken place. We all read it and cringed while simultaneously developing concern for the victim.
It's paramount to the survival of the NR site that I love to acknowledge dk & all newbies/seasoned CNSAs alike that they should NOT presume that brutish behavior, bullying, bashing, etc. are acceptable or condoned.
Oh, there might be an isolated few who'll unjustifiably come to the defense of bullying behavior, but the SILENT MAJORITY finds it shameful and embarrassing. Honestly surprised that you support that type of unacceptable and clearly unprofessional behavior for any reason. There is no need for it other than the bully's selfish need to lash out at others, which we all see the bullies do repeatedly on the NR Discuss Work forum.
You personally have told me on more than one occasion that you really wanted to publicly support the bullying victims, but that you chose not to because you wanted to remain 'friends' with them and you said that you knew they'd gang up on you if you did support the victim publicly. 
Take a honest stand, Marilynn. Do the right thing. Stop supporting the unprofessional brutish and bullying behavior. It's long overdue to be eradicated from the professional NR forum. We have sufficient fear for our livelihood and business survival without this type of venom spewing. |
