They probably only meet your fee because they have no backup in your area. If you live in Notary land like in FL, there are 50+ behind you. There is no negotiating. You can tell them what your fees are, and they will get back to you, or you put in that text what you want and never hear back. That is the reality for most. Of course, we always can counter, and we do, but odds are 99% they move into the next one.
Also, my experience these low ball companies have very poor paying practices, so not worth it to me. I like getting paid on time. Anything over 45 days disclosed (pays 15th of the following month type of thing) up front is passed up. |
