"Did the NYT and/or WAPO reporters actually see any Trump mis-doings, or did they simply interview some chicken rat that will not give his/her name?"
Apples and oranges. If you want to understand the importance of background sources in investigative journalism and how they are vetted before they are cited, read "All The President's Men". Without the "chicken rat", Nixon would have gotten away with it.
"Backers pulled out, play is closed, it's over, so now defend Kathy Griffin."
Two backers pulled out weeks ago, the play finished its planned run Sunday night with more disruptions from right-wing illiterates who had no clue what the play was about because they never read Shakespeare. I would never defend Kathy Griffin - there's no equivalency between what she did and a 400-year old play that you also apparently don't understand.
Explain why it was OK when an Obama character was used for the title role in the same play in 2012, as opposed to a Trump character this year? I really want to see how you'll spin that one... |
