I truly don't know how to respond to this - is it your position that a Gold Star family has no right to publicly mourn the loss of their child if that child made his own decision to join the military against their wishes? That the loss of his life was somehow not their sacrifice because he chose to put himself in danger to defend his country?
This is about as tone deaf as anything Trump has said over the past week.
