Not because I don't want to loose him as a Senator but because I am familiar with his record and his beliefs.
As far as him being one of my Senators, I will be actively working against him when he is up for re-election. I voted for him the first time and he proved that he was not really interested in the job. He only saw it as a stepping stone that he had to endure to further his own political ambitions. I really do hope he has at least one good Republican challenger, if not, it will force me to vote for whoever the Democrat is.
Since he has proven he doesn't really want the job of Texas Senator, I wish he would just resign and let another person who really wants the job representing Texans take over today. I don't see that happening, but I refuse to continue voting for the same people without holding them accountable for their actions. |
