This is a very interesting concept! Please keep us posted on how it goes for you.
I don't have an organic garden, but I'm buying more organic and getting better at remembering to take my supplements (organically sourced) when I do eat. I'm still studying up on this, but it seems like it's a pretty flexible concept. I've been eating relatively low carb for a while now and did find that I lost the carb craving after just a few days. FWIW, even though my triglycerides weren't excessively high, last year I was able to reduce that measure by 100 points! I also lost about 10% of my body weight. I could stand to lose another 8 or 10 lbs, maybe, but I'm most interested in keeping off what I've lost. I'm hoping that intermittent fasting can be a simple, sustainable way to keep it off and still participate in the fun things in life. So I'm sticking my big toe in, too, but I'm only on day two. It was much easier than I expected the first day. I think this could be very helpful on busy days when it's a challenge finding time for meals. (I really like the idea of freeing up time in the am and during the day, 'cause I felt like I was spending lots of time prepping food.) When I've started to get hungry - which was less than I expected - I drank something, either water or coffee/tea, depending on time of day, and that did the trick, most of the time. (Being busy really helps, too...)
