This is entirely a test run for the exact same time I have to do it next week not for any kind of weight loss.
I need to do a short fast for 36 hours. Tonight will be my last supper until Thursday evening. My actual last meal will be Wednesday Breakfast then I'm done so gotta load up tonight.
Due to surgery time and required fasting time I will be doing this involuntarily same days, same meals next week. I might not make it this week but giving it my best.
Other then that I'm holding. That's not my goal however. My goal, beyond making it though this fasting is to move closer to a plant based way of eating. If I lose weight or not will just be a moving target I'm sure.
I fasted last Friday for the weekend, cheated a bit and gained a little bit back. Kinda bummed I ate like a pig last night some really good stuff. Looking back it was all organic plant based. I am back at my new *settled* weight so all is well.
I honestly don't know anything about dieting and frankly don't want to. However, from a former life in manufacturing and engineering one of the things I tracked was variances in labor and materials. Variances always exist. The challenge is to find why and what then change for efficiency. I know, sounds like a guy, but that's how I think. I think a lot of people do that when eating, checking variances and adjusting for losing weight. But that's like quality control vs quality *assurance*, long term.
Salad is long gone. Sometime later I gotta figure out how to pig out for my last supper tonight. It'll be good! |
