Taking a couple days to get this going before a week of rain starts.

I found it better to mix 2/3 compost to 1/3 mix of vermiculite and peat moss. The last two can get expensive but important for maintaining water moisture. That pretty much makes a base soil.

I left two inches at the top for the rest of the materials which go on thin.

Will finish it off towards the end of Feb when the rain and cold weather is gone.

Going back for more compost. Maybe get another bed done.
