This seems to pale in comparison to what everyone else is doing but I'm just trying to remove sugar from my diet as much as I can. I went crazy over the holidays with sweets and loved every minute of it. My downfall has always been pastries, with a cup of Joe.
Time to search out all the recipes with sugar substitutes and I know there's lots out there. Made no sugar, no flour cookies yesterday with oats, cinnamon, pecans and bananas. Pretty bland but bananas were not ripe enough, fixable, and more cinnamon would have definitely added to the taste.
I'm bound and determined. At this age, I take no medication whatsoever, just a few vitamins. My husband was just put on cholesterol lowering medication and blood pressure medication. He's not liking it one bit.
