I am just the notary (in this case), the certificate is on their docs and their instructions. If it gets rejected, I come back on their dime. If out in the field, and it says John Doe, Managing Member, I have them sign like that John Doe, Managing member. That has never came back either.
On my certificate however I write John Doe, I have never put his title there. If preprinted, that is great, I won't change it. It's not on his ID like that, how do I really know he's a managing member? I don't, so never put a title behind any name on my certs. Just because he says so, doesn't make it so imo. I am verifying an identity, not his title. jmo |
