You're absolutely right! I find it almost impossible to take the last minute closings, however. I miss a lot of work b/c of that. I used to take on more same day closings, but it just got to be more stressful than it was worth! This is my third year doing this and I still can't get over the Murphy's law type of things that happen, ie. that nice offer comes in from the title co. you really like and you already have a Dr. appt. for one of the kids and it will take 3 months to get another one...then the whole tome you're in the waiting room you're counting the dollars you're missing out on and how much you could use them to pay for the dr. appt.! lol Or when the docs don't arrive on time and the only person that will ever babysit (Mom!) is not available anymore when they do arrive!
I guess the same stuff happens to all of us Moms. It's just harder for me to get the sitters! lol |
