| You are not alone. There are organizations that may be able to help, and provide some knowledgeable support and experienced guidance. Lee is right, the signing is done, and you are safe. There is often a "playbook" used by predators, and knowing how to navigate that may be beneficial - including getting support (from us, your SS, law enforcement) - as well as from domestic violence centers, etc. who often understand how to de-escalate situations. While it may not be your exact situation, it can still be good knowledge to have, for anyone. Stay calm, get support, de-escalate, distance yourself. There are often local hot line numbers to call, and they have seen this before and can provide candid insight and input. |
